Getting to Koh Racha Island

Boats to Koh Racha leave from Chalong Pier at the south end of Phuket. If you're flying to Phuket, allow about 90 minutes from your arrival time to get to the pier. It takes 30 to 45 minutes to get to Racha Yai by speed boat, or around 1.5 hours by long-tailed or dive boat.

Luxury resort The Racha has it's own speedboat, which makes the trip to and from Chalong Bay three times a day. Or, if you're in a big hurry, they can arrange for a seaplane transfer from Phuket airport by Destination Air.
