Sea Turtles

Sea turtles are turtle that spend almost all of their life in the ocean. There are only about seven species of turtle in all, and most are endangered.

Green Turtle

Scientific name: Chelonia mydas

The green turtle is one of the most common that you'll see in the tropics, although it is recognized as an endangered species. I've seen them at Tioman as well as several spots around Komodo.
