Three-Bar Porcupinefish
Scientific name: Dicotylichthys punctulatus
A Three-Bar Porcupinefish - Photographed in the Lembeh Strait
I'm not sure about this identification, but it's the closest description I could find for this guy, which I saw all around the Lembeh Strait. The eyes of several individuals had this same strange 'faceted' reflection to them.
Please note: Identification of fish, corals, etc. is a tricky business. It's entirely possible that I've incorrectly identified a photo I've taken. If you spot an error, please contact me so I can correct it and improve this resource.
