Tanjung Tengah Dive Site - Redang Island

 
Tanjung Tengah is the "house reef" of the Redang Bay Resort, and is used as the resort's training site. Entry is usually directly off the beach in front of the resort. Check the currents to see which end of the beach to enter from.

The landscape and corals vary according to the depth, as you'd expect. Acroporus corals dominate the shallows, while large boulders and rocks with soft corals can be found in deeper waters. Amongst them are schools of rabbitfish and yellowtail snappers.
