Mak Cantik Dive Site - Redang Island

 
Mak Cantik lies just off Pasir Panjang Beach, and can be reached by boat in about 10 minutes from the beach. The reef is surrounded by a flat sandy bottom, and can be easily circumvented in under 30 minutes. Among the hard corals you'll find boxfish, pufferfish, morays and lionfish, as well as a variety of nudibranchs.

At night, the reef becomes quite spectacular, with a wide variety of life, from white-tip reef sharks to blue-spotted rays and crocodile fish.

There is some coral bleaching around the upper portion of the reef, but it still seems to be a great dive site.
