Tokong Laut is the best of many dive sites around a cluster of rocky outcrops northwest of Perhentian Kecil. The site consists of many large boulders that descend to a depth of about 30 meters. The boulders in the shallower depths are covered with a spectacular array of colorful soft corals, while those lower down have black coral, gorgonians and sea fans.
Marine life includes green turtles, several kinds of triggerfish, unicorn fish, and a few types of sharks. Whale sharks have been spotted here, but not often.
