Crystal Rock is another semi-subermerged pinnacle about halfway between Gili Lawa Laut and Castle Rock. The currents here are also quite strong, but generally not as bad as Castle Rock. The pinnacle breaks the surface during low tide, by a meter or so. As at Castle Rock, the trick is to get into the "shadow" of the mount and stay out of the strongest currents.

This is another great dive for a wide variety of fish. I saw several good examples of Clown Triggerfish, as well as some Titans, and some unicornfish. But the standout was a school of sweetlips. A large school of them simply hung around during the dive. It was mostly ribboned sweetlips, but there were a few diagonal-banded ones in the group as well.
